» Description
A package to read and parse Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets. Refactored based on the PHP-ExcelReader class by Vadim Tkachenko with permission. See http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpexcelreader />
Currently only supports BIFF7 and BIFF8 formats (the old binary format, or if you use a Mac like me, or Open Office, the current format).

Ability to include the new xlsx Excel 12 (2007) format at a later date should be possible.

NOTE: This version of reader requires the changes made by Christian Schmidt to OLE with supplying a reference to the file as a stream handle.
